These Terms govern your access to and use of the Kogan Store website, marketplace, and related services. By using Kogan Store you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Kogan Store
Kogan Store is an online multi-vendor marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers. Unless specifically stated otherwise, Kogan Store acts as a marketplace platform that facilitates listings, communications, and transactions between users. Individual sellers remain responsible for their own products, listings, pricing, warranties, and fulfillment obligations.
2. Eligibility
To use Kogan Store you must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law, provide accurate registration information, maintain the security of your account, and comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where permitted by applicable law if these requirements are not met.
3. User Accounts
When creating an account you agree to provide accurate and current information, keep your information updated, protect your password, and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for activities performed through your account unless otherwise required by law.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers agree to provide accurate delivery information, complete purchases honestly, use approved marketplace payment methods, communicate respectfully, review product information before ordering, and comply with marketplace policies. Buyers must not abuse refund systems, manipulate reviews, or attempt fraudulent transactions.
5. Seller Responsibilities
Marketplace sellers agree to list products accurately, provide truthful descriptions and images, fulfill accepted orders responsibly, ship products within reasonable processing times, respond to customer inquiries professionally, follow Kogan Store marketplace policies, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Seller verification requirements may apply before certain marketplace features become available.
6. Marketplace Role
Kogan Store provides the technology platform that enables buyers and sellers to interact. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Kogan Store is not the manufacturer of listed products, does not guarantee every product listed by independent sellers, and product availability may change. Sellers remain responsible for their listings and applicable legal obligations. Where marketplace support or buyer protection applies, Kogan Store may assist in resolving eligible disputes in accordance with published policies.
7. Orders and Payments
Orders placed through Kogan Store are subject to product availability, successful payment authorization, marketplace fraud prevention checks, and seller acceptance where applicable. Kogan Store reserves the right to decline or cancel orders where permitted by law, including cases involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, or technical issues. Refunds and returns are governed by the applicable marketplace policies.
8. Pricing
Sellers are responsible for establishing product pricing. While we strive for accuracy, pricing, availability, or product information may occasionally contain errors. Where permitted by applicable law, obvious pricing or technical errors may be corrected before order fulfillment.
9. Acceptable Use
Users must not violate applicable laws, submit false information, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious software, interfere with marketplace operations, circumvent platform security, scrape data without authorization, manipulate reviews or ratings, sell prohibited or illegal products, or engage in fraud or deceptive practices. Violations may result in account restrictions or other enforcement measures.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Kogan Store name, branding, logos, website design, software, text, graphics, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Kogan Store. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit protected content without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by applicable law. Users remain responsible for the intellectual property rights associated with content they submit.
11. User Content
Users may submit content including reviews, product listings, images, messages, and profile information. By submitting content you confirm that you have the necessary rights to do so. You remain responsible for the legality and accuracy of your submitted content. Kogan Store may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
12. Prohibited Products
Certain products or services may not be listed on Kogan Store. Examples include counterfeit goods, illegal products, stolen property, dangerous items prohibited by law, fraudulent products, items infringing intellectual property, and other restricted categories identified in marketplace policies.
13. Seller Verification
To improve marketplace trust, Kogan Store may require sellers to complete identity verification or provide additional documentation before accessing certain marketplace features. Verification requirements may change over time.
14. Buyer Protection
Eligible purchases may qualify for assistance under the Kogan Store Buyer Protection Policy. Buyer Protection does not guarantee approval of every claim. Each request is reviewed individually using the available information and applicable policies.
15. Reviews and Ratings
Customer reviews should reflect genuine experiences. Fake, misleading, purchased, or manipulated reviews are prohibited. Review moderation is governed by the Kogan Store Review Integrity Policy.
16. Privacy
Our collection, use, and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. By using Kogan Store, you acknowledge that your information may be processed as described in that policy.
17. Account Suspension and Termination
Kogan Store may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where appropriate, including for fraud, security risks, repeated policy violations, illegal activity, abuse of marketplace systems, or serious violations of these Terms. Where reasonably possible, users may be notified of enforcement actions unless doing so would compromise security, legal obligations, or investigations.
18. Service Availability
We work to keep Kogan Store available and reliable. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, or events beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect services.
19. Third-Party Services
Kogan Store may integrate with third-party providers such as payment processors, analytics providers, shipping services, authentication providers, or communication platforms. Those services remain subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
20. Disclaimer
